Why would he release a trailer for something never to be released. Why would you market a non existant product, so to say?

There's some activity on Reddit about someone trying to re-create this edit:
They combined "Star Wars a Last Hope" and "Turn to the Dark Side" into one movie. Anyone seen either of these? Is this worth checking out?

By all accounts, the Topher Grace cut wouldn't beat some of the 3-in-1 edits you can actually see. It retains Threepio's head switcheroo in AOTC.
I'm skeptical of attempts to do a 3-in-1. Part of the point of the prequels' existence is to fill out the missing Episode #s. If not a trilogy, why bother watching at all?
