If the following is true, then I'm really fucking excited despite what I've said in the past. http://www.reddit.com/r/StarWars/comments/2nyd64/rumor_potential_4chan_episode_vii_leak_possible/
I only read up to the point where they discuss who the two main leads are. I don't want to run the risk of being totally spoiled.
But that all fits with what I've been thinking the film would be.
Having that line be about an Awakening and then showing Boyega on the run. That made me think he was the one they were talking about.
Rebels introduced the concept of the Inquisitors outside of the EU and I thought they can't introduce something that big without addressing it in the ST.
The fact that the Inquisitor in Rebels was that species from ROTS had me doubly suspicious. I really think they might be playing a larger role than has been let on. Playing on that original description of the Emperor from the novelization: "Once secure in office he declared himself Emperor, shutting himself away from the populace. Soon he was controlled by the very assistants and boot-lickers he had appointed to high office, and the cries of the people for justice did not reach his ears."
Even ROTJ was going to depict the Emperor having "advisors" following him everywhere, though they were cut from the final film:
Then a while ago I noticed that some of the background Pau'an's in ROTS struck a striking similarity to the Emperor's Royal Guard:
So I'm highly suspicious of the Pau'ans. Though, it could always be Mas Amedda:
He was always in the shadow of the last two leaders of the Galaxy. Never calling much attention to himself. I always thought he was a bit of shady character.
In fact, here he is in ROTS wielding a Sith themed staff:
Makes you wonder just how big a roll he played behind the scenes...
