I know that's not entirely funny, but I do worry about being a parent in this day and age. I worry about how some teachers and neighbors might interpret stuff that happens and think that some kind of abuse is going on. Can you imagine doing something as innocuous as playing football, having your kid trip and bruise himself, and then have the police stop by because your kid's teacher thinks you hit him/her?
No kidding; only thing I was planning on doing was bringing a Cabbage Patch doll along (baby stand-in, since my younger son is going as the Cat in the Hat and is too big to pass for a baby). Was also contemplating tying the jaws shut on the croc costume (it's one of those plush numbers with the croc's head on top, and my son's face is underneath).
