But look on the bright side -- you could always use the material to make A Ridiculous Independence trilogy. ;-)

Also he was given a choice between doing these and make a trilogy based on Foundation and he choose to make these and now Foundation is being made as a series by HBO.

I will gladly put up with these movies coming out and being hits if it keeps him away from one of my favorite book series of all time.
