Believe it or not, David Letterman had a show on NBC. For awhile, actually. Yes, the old man of late night television (who currently has a show on CBS, which he’s been on since his departure from NBC in 1993) will be retiring in early 2015 after over 30 years on TV. Because of this, it got me curious about his years on Late Night, and I was pleasantly surprised: It was funny, goofy, absurd, hilariously awkward, and overall great television. The only good copies I could find were on YouTube, but segments were all chopped up and removed, and it really bothered me. Because of this, I was hoping that the great folks here at OT could come together with me and help digitize and preserve as many complete "Late Night"s as humanly possible.
