I hate my job. I currently work at a hospital as an RN, and though I was excited to take a step up in the career ladder, I hate working nights and I hate the way the hospital is run. It was recently bought out by a for profit corporation, and it has since treated its employees like poop. There is more, but this is the good news thread. I just got off the phone after a phone interview. As many of you know, my previous career was in mental health. A new agency will be opening up in town and they are looking for psych RNs. The interview went very well and I was told that, "We don't say this to all our phone interviewees but I'm really interested in an in-person interview. I'm not just saying that." So perhaps a new, happier job looms around the corner. Wish me luck while I endure my current job, and I hope this new opportunity, if I get it, is actually more rewarding.
