The difference between Blu ray and the Digital Cinema Package(DCP) which has supplanted 35mm is not that great.
DCP's have 300gb(Blu ray has 50gb but with fancy compression algorithms) and slightly wider colour gamuts.....the resolutions are practically identical(2048 X 1080 for DCP vs 1920 X 1080 for Blu ray).
