Seahawks started hot, but have been stumbling as of late. They started with a 3-0 record but have lost their last 3 games. Dammit! Hasselbeck is my fantasy football QB, too.

I really hope that yesterday wasnt an indication of the effect that Jerry Rice will have on the Seahawks offense. They just got upended by a suprising Arizona defense. I think they will get back on track this week though. I think you might have some pretty good stats from Hasselback before the year ends.

Here's hoping. The sacks he's been enduring lately have been hurting me badly.

Ive only seen a few of the Seahawks games, how is your offensive line playing? Or are they just playing formidible defenses?

Our league doesn't have offensive lines. Any of their faults are taken out on the QB, RB, WR, or TE depending.

I was talking about fantasy football. We don't draft offensive lines in my fantasy football league. Maybe that's not what Lethe was talking about, but it's what I was referring to.

It was close. You were a two-point conversion from losing...if only the Browns had the...how do you spell...cahonas to try it.

Packers blew the Cowboys apart and we got to see another successful halfback pass.

You know the game is going bad when your opponent's punter see's his first action with 9 minutes left in the game. That's about when Packers punter Barker finally got to play.

I believe I already meantioned that it was close. As for trying the two pointer, remember if they had tried it and failed, the Browns would have lost right there and the coach would never have heard the end of it from the Browns fans. Most coaches go for one that situation.

I was simply emphasizing how really close it was.

As for the fans, not a day goes by that the fans don't complain about something with this team. After signing him, people were practically ready to declare Jeff Garcia the savior of the franchise.
A couple weeks ago, they were ready to hang him.

So, a missed 2-point conversion wouldn't have made a great deal of difference.

Personally, I go for 2.
My thinking, I've been lucky against these guys all day. I don't want to see that luck run out in overtime.
Which is what happened.

Going for 1 is the safe move. Going for two is the reckless move.

If this is directed to me, I wasn't saying you had cojones in saying what you said. I was just giving you the correct spelling of "cojones" since you were wondering.

Well, the Patriots are currently the undisputed best in the league. The Eagles could certainly take that from them this year, and the Jets were SO close to taking them down. Other than those three, good teams:

Colts, Giants, Steelers....

Well here is the "official" ranking of teams, posted by FOXSports.com as of week 5:

*Note, the 1st # is the rank, the (#-#) is the win-loss ratio, the "SAME" or second # is the rank from the previous week, & the (#) is the change in rank it had from the previos week*

1. Patriots (5-0) 1st SAME 1st/1st All the Patriots do is win, and it doesn't seem to matter if a few WRs are injured. Belichick keeps this team focused, and QB Tom Brady keeps the machine rolling.

2. Eagles (5-0) 2nd SAME 2nd/3rd This team is nudging closer to the Patriots every week. The defense harasses the QB from every direction, QB Donovan McNabb has improved greatly and WR Terrell Owens has a big mouth but even bigger talent.

3. Colts (4-1) 3rd SAME 3rd/5th The Colts had the week off, and that might be the only way to slow this scoring machine. The Colts must keep winning and hope the Patriots slip twice; otherwise, the AFC championship game again will be in Foxborough. If the defense can hold opponents to 20 points, the Colts will stay in the top three all season.

4. Jets (5-0) 5th
(+1) 4th/18th The Jets are 5-0 for the first time in their 45-year history and are a sure playoff team as long as Pennington is healthy. The biggest test awaits them this Sunday at New England.

5. Vikings (4-1) 4th
(-1) 4th/13th The Vikings can shred any defense but, like the Colts, can't stop many teams either. The Vikings worked hard to improve their defense, but it still is a work in progress.

6. Broncos (5-1) 6th
(+1) 6th/14th Reuben Droughns' success proves that it is the running system that makes things go in Denver. Denver leads the NFL in rushing, and Droughns has back-to-back games of 193 and 176 yards. The defense is solid, and QB Jake Plummer's decision-making seems to be improving.

7. Falcons (5-1) 8th
(+1) 5th/20th Everyone wants to downgrade this team because Michael Vick is not a traditional QB. Be happy with 100 yards rushing, 150 yards passing and victory each week. The defense is underrated and will improve significantly when CB DeAngelo Hall returns.

8. Steelers (5-1) 11th
(+3) 8th/24th QB Ben Roethlisberger answered some tough questions with his 21-of-25 performance in Dallas. The offensive line is improving every week, and the defense has its swagger back. Pittsburgh is a serious playoff contender.

9. Seahawks (3-2) 6th
(-3) 3rd/9th The Seahawks have more talent than most of the teams ranked above them, but they must learn develop a killer instinct and finish games. The WRs still don't catch the ball like big-time players should.

10. Ravens (3-2) 9th
(-1) 7th/12th With Kyle Boller at QB, this team can't go any higher than 10th. The defense is a notch below its standards, and RB Jamal Lewis will miss the next two games. Without Lewis, who basically IS the offense, Baltimore likely will fall out of the top 10.

11. Giants (4-1) 10th
(-1) 10th/27th GM Ernie Accorsi and coach Tom Coughlin complement each other well, and the team has improved in every area. QB Kurt Warner's quick decisions and a healthy Jeremy Shockey make the Giants dangerous.

12. Rams (4-2) 12th SAME 7th/22nd The offense has taken off since an embarrassing loss to New Orleans in Week 3. And the offense will improve if rookie RB Steven Jackson gets a greater role. The defense is only average, but some injured players almost are ready to return.

13. Texans (3-3) 16th
(+3) 13th/30th The Texans have confidence, an emerging star at QB in David Carr and an opportunistic defense. This is a serious team.

14. Jaguars (4-2) 19th
(+5) 10th/22nd If the Jaguars played the whole game like they do the last four minutes, they might be undefeated. RB Fred Taylor must produce better if this team is to move into the top 10.

15. Cowboys (2-3) 14th
(-1) 8th/15th The Cowboys are only an average team, but coach Bill Parcells gets the most out of the talent. They still deserve this ranking because none of the teams below would be a lock to beat them.

16. Chargers (3-3) 18th
(+2) 16th/32nd Kansas City should be in this spot, but the Chiefs don't compete like the overachieving Chargers. QB Drew Brees is playing for a big contract next season with another team, RB LaDainian Tomlinson is the most dangerous player in the league and no team can take them lightly.

17. Chiefs (1-4) 15th
(-2) 5th/22nd Is there more talent or more inconsistency on this team? Opponents have neutralized elite return man Dante Hall, so he no longer can pick up the slack for a defense full of slackers. The defensive players got one coach fired and soon might send a few to the unemployment line. Atlanta and Indianapolis are next. This team is going down fast.

18. Packers (2-4) 23rd
(+5) 8th/23rd The Packers could be ranked higher, but no one ever is sure which Packers team will show up. There are problems with the run defense and the secondary, and RB Ahman Green can't hold onto the ball. When QB Brett Favre is hot -- which seems to be every other week -- the Packers can compete with any team.

19. Lions (3-2) 13th
(-6) 13th/28th The Lions will slide unless WR Roy Williams is able to get back on the field and be productive. The Lions showed little fire against Green Bay last week. This team probably is a year away.

20. Titans (2-4) 17th
(-3) 4th/20th This team is in salary cap jail. It plays hard and has a great RB and an All-Pro QB, but too much talent has left town in recent years for this to be a playoff team. The Titans are losing games they must win.

21. Bucs (1-5) 22nd
(+1) 21st/29th QB Brian Griese is consistent, RB Michael Pittman is effective and the defense has some pop left. The Bucs will be a tough foe the rest of the way.

22. Redskins (2-4) 21st
(-1) 14th/22nd The Redskins have a one-man offense (Clinton Portis). How long can coach Joe Gibbs ride ineffective QB Mark Brunell? The defense creates an enormous amount of pressure and will improve with LaVar Arrington's pending return. The Redskins are off this week, and Portis surely could use the rest.

23. Browns (3-3) 25th
(+2) 23rd/26th No one is sure which Jeff Garcia will show up each Sunday. Is it the QB the coach called "skittish" two weeks ago or the one who threw four TD passes in Week 6?

24. Saints (2-4) 28th
(+4) 16th/28th No team is more inconsistent than the Saints. This is one of the most talented teams in the NFL but it has no heart. The Saints put up "fantasy numbers" but play in a real football league.

25. Panthers (1-4) 20th
(-5) 2nd/25th The Panthers are in a freefall because of significant injuries everywhere. There just isn't enough talent to win right now.

26. Cardinals (1-4) 26th SAME 26th/32nd The Cardinals aren't good, but they play hard. They will have a better second half with QB Josh McCown gaining experience and with elite WR Anquan Boldin due back.

27. Raiders (2-4) 24th
(-3) 17th/27th Same old Raiders -- too many mistakes, turnovers and penalties. The Raiders have no running game, QB Kerry Collins makes horrible decisions and the defense can't stop the run.

28. Bills (1-4) 29th
(+1) 23rd/30th The Bills play sound defense, but there are not many teams their offense can beat. The offensive line is hideous. Rookie QB J.P. Losman should be starting by Thanksgiving.
I just hate stupid people.

GO JETS!!!!
