Anyone else blase' about the New trilogy? — Page 4

By imperialscum's logic, it's perfectly valid to think that the world does revolve around me after all! :)

The sun goes around the moon. It all depends on where you put the reference frame.

 What?

Jeez, why don't you just say the 97 special edition is better than the OUT while you're at it?

It is.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. I'll wait til the reviews roll in, I suppose, and see where I'll go there.

Ol’ George has the GOUT, I see.

Does 2+2=5 too?

Author

Of course. It all depends on how the values of 2 and 5 are defined, and what the symbols of "+" and "=" represent.

I tend not to let others sway my opinion of what I like.  I am certainly excited about what we could see.  It's Disney and JJ, two power houses, no matter which way you lean.

The SE Trilogy is what it is for the time it was created and the anniversary factor of it's release, not to mention that it was GL's playground for future technology with regards to film making.

I hope to be pleasantly surprised.

The reviews are in, and vaccines are the clear winner.

Unless you are one of those leach truthers.

I keep reading this thread title in a modern London/West-Indian accent, as in "This New Trilogy is gonna be ahll blaze and sh*t, ya know blud. Truth", that sort of thing. Just thought I'd mention it. It makes me laugh everytime I open the "General Thoughts" forum right now.

VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.

Where might the "General Thoughts" forum be found?

Only in my head, it's a very special place I assure you.

OK sure, but nothing changes the fact that the sun does not go around the moon. In fact, the moon doesn't even revolve around the sun, it revolves around the earth. I guess technically the moon goes around the sun since it follows the earth. Anyway though, nothing anyone thinks or says changes the fact that the sun does not go around the moon. No point of view alters that fact.

As for Episode VII, I don't plan on seeing it. Maybe I'll rent it from Blockbuster when it comes out on tape, but I won't see it in theaters

That was some more of my sarcasm. I don't really agree with imperialscum's opinion that opinions can't be wrong. :P

Even the very example you provided goes horribly against your argument. The sun goes around the moon. It all depends on where you put the reference frame.

That's as embarrassing as my whole rumour/rumor confusion from that OUT thread.

OK, good. You never know on the internet though; plus I'm a bit deaf to sarcasm even in real life, so it's about 100 times harder to notice in online comments.

You'll be waiting a long time, a very long time for it to come out on tape. Even longer for it to get to Blockbuster.

I'm just worried that the ST will continue certain prequelisms.

Like all bad guys being named darth, all bad guys using red lightsabers, ridiculous coincidences and everyone being connected somehow, jedi not being allowed to love, and stupid space prophecies?
