What's the Weather Like Where You Live? — Page 6

The weather in Québec is far nicer than I'm used to at this time of year. The temperature is in the mid-20s (Celsius, of course) and it hasn't gone below zero once (I'm used to the first frost being in September).

I spoke too soon. It's now quite cool, rainy, and windy, which is what I'm used to at this time of year.

I walked home from school in a T-shirt and shorts (didn't bother changing out of my gym clothes because it was the last period), but everyone else was wearing jackets and pants. Sometimes I think I need to have someone let me know when it's cold so I can wear what everyone else does.

It still hasn't gone below zero degrees Celsius, which is a novelty for me. It's amazing how much of a difference a few degrees of latitude makes in the climate.

Here in Las Vegas, our weather has gone from supper hot to just hot. We seem to be over our 100+ degree days, and now the upper 90's is the norm. Our rainy season officially started a few weeks ago, but yesterday we had our first real downpour of the season. The air was thick with the smell of ozone and creosote.

Ugh I miss that smell. Nothing like it.

Keep Circulating the Tapes.

Il y avait beaucoup du vent aujourd'hui et hier et la journée avant ça et avant ça et probablement il y aura le même demain aussi.

I'm currently in the Bay Area of California where it's nearly five on Saturday morning, a mellow sixty degrees, and the rain is creating a peaceful lullaby outside my dorm room window. It's rained most of this week, but it's actually had a calming effect on me. I have a very hyperactive disposition and the sun invigorates me even more. The rain mellows me out and makes me feel more contemplative. It's also been watering my creativity, which is awesome because I honestly felt like it had become wilted lately. I've painted more this past week than I have in months! Plus, I've been sleeping in every morning instead of running, and it feels good to be more rested.

Still awaiting the first frost. I wish Alberta was like this.

Not too hot, not too cold... tropical weather rules this time of the year

Winter has finally come to Québec. It began snowing last night and hasn't stopped. There are a few inches of snow on the ground, and I was out shoveling for an hour. It wasn't very cold, however (unfortunately, that means the snow is wet and heavy).

EDIT: We got more than eight inches of snow overnight.

I thought Québec was supposed to get more snow than Alberta.... It can't be more than a few inches deep now and it's continuing to melt. I can't complain, though.

After almost constant temperatures of approximately 0 degrees (Fahrenheit) in 2015 we finally got a couple of nice and warm 20 degree days, followed by today, which was a solid 45! Only really needed to wear a hoodie rather than an actual coat

I continue just wearing a hoodie (over my regular clothes) until it drops below -20°C (-4°F).

I live on the second most southerly point on the UK mainland and the temperature inside my fridge is warmer than the temperature outside today. I have no central heating in my flat, just a stupid storage heater that only warms up at 2 'o' clock in the morning, so I'm feeling the nip more than some other people in the area but it's still freezing here! I am grateful I'm not living any further north though! Brrrr!

 LOL, no sympathy from me.

Woke up to find it had snowed in the night. Not too bad though. The roads are clear but it is snowing at the moment. The North of the U.K have snow quite bad.
