I would just go with getting the "like new" or "new" copies on Amazon.com(I got most of my harcovers, including TUF, SQ, VP, and DW brand new for less than $40, much cheaper than SFBC). But if you just buy the ones that aren't released as hardcovers(the paperback exclusive ones like the force heretic trilogy)by the reg publisher, then I would get them from SFBC. As a matter of fact, I did just get the ones not released by Del Rey as hardcovers from SFBC.
Ive never noticed the paper quality of the sfbc books...ill have to check it out.
Ill also have to check out the amazon.com thing, my man thing is to just get them fairly cheaply and since i already have at least one and its in hardcover id like to be consistant

Serioulsly: his next SW project is a prequel-era novel about the OB flight.

The outbound flight was six dreadnaughts arranged arround a giant engine, and it was designed to try and leave the Galaxy after exploring the unknown regions. It was unfortunatley destroyed by Thrawn when he was still a Chiss Defense Fleet admiral. In survivor's quest, Muke and Lara try and track it down.

It seems as though Zahn is still obsessed with this concept he vaguely outlined thirteen years ago that really was just a cool tidbit of backstory and not worthy of two novels. It was originally used as an excuse to bring Thrawn to the Empire and to serve as part of Jorrus C'boath's backstory, and, of course Lucas hasn't even acknowleged it as canon.
It isn't entirely an uncool idea, but I wish Zahn would move on to post-NJO work, or perhaps Old Republic stories, and not overdo something that has allready had plenty of adequate explanation.
In other words, go ahead and read SQ if you haven't read any of Zahn's other work. If you have, then you allready know enough. I plan to get SQ when it comes out in paperback.

I highly reccomend it. It is superior to the entire NJO.
