I was actually talking to Mr Baker and Mr Prowse on Sunday (12.10.14) at a gaming expo in Manchester England. Kenny is in a wheel chair and Dave is using crutches. Both were in good spirits but I doubt very much that they will be in the new movies.

As I said before, giving them a bit part or cameo as a new character, where their faces can be seen, would be a nice gesture.

No problem! I thought I had missed an announcement somewhere... Prowse has publicly expressed interest in returning as Darth Vader in Episode VII... assuming the character will be in the film. I still think Prowse, Mayhew and Baker should have an unmasked cameo somewhere in the ST.

I could be wrong, but I always thought Baker never really had that much involvement in Empire and Jedi anyways.

I agree. And since George isn't running the show, there's no reason Prowse can't be welcomed back into the fold.

I remember hearing at a mini-convention years ago Justin Dix who worked on the prequels as a droid wrangler said that Kenny Baker only made a token appearence in the prequels and was only used in 1 or 2 shots and that he wasn't well liked on set
