Print screen grabs a screenshot of your screen at that moment.  You then just open something like Paint and simply paste it, then save it as a jpeg or something that a picture sharing site will accept.  I am having trouble with my account and don't have lots of time to address it, otherwise I would have already posted a screengrab.

OK, I'll grab a screenshot and email it to Ric so he can post it. A team effort!

Shogi

I would have posted it myself earlier, were it not for the fact that my screen is too short to show the whole board at once (zooming out knocks everything out of alignment).

EDIT: I forgot to add that ender has a rook and I have a bishop in hand.

I believe I also have a pawn in hand. There should be 24 total. I'm away from my computer right now but will try to move based on the diagram.

I'm glad we did double check the positions.  I noted two discrepancies on mine which were my fault.  Thankfully they won't have affected how I would have played, but little things like that can really mess a game up.

And on our side of things, I was missing that pawn you mentioned above, and my dad moved a lance instead of dropping another on the board beside it (that's what happens when you don't keep track of captured pieces ;)). So all three of us had some sort of problem or other with our boards.

I have to say, this is a hard game to play.  I'm playing a pretty defensive game, both because I'm wary of attacks from both sides, and also because I worry about forming an alliance.  There are so few safe cells to place anything, it's crazy!

I think we should play another game after this with an alliance in the beginning.  I'm not convinced that the allied players can even win, but I'd be interested to see if it's possible.

Ric, how's school going?

I hope I'm not falling for an obvious trap...

As for school, that's going very well so far, thank you. Homework is very minimal (which is nice, but it means less French practice, so I've begun reciting lists of vocabulary every day). I'm learning French reasonably quickly and can now figure out just about everything my math teacher says since there's a lot of repetition in math class. Understanding my peers is significantly harder than understanding my teachers, because the former tend to speak less clearly (i.e. slurring words, speaking quietly or quickly, etc.) and often with a strong accent, since I'm frequently with the immigrant students.

How's that baby of yours? Ours has recently discovered a correlation between some of his actions and our laughter and has begun to intentionally entertain us. :D

D'oh!  No, no trap there.  In my mind I was thinking those pawns were oriented differently, facing me directly, and thus I was on the side of them.  I guess because of how you lined them up.......I feel sheepish.  I don't suppose you'd...let...me............

Glad to hear school is going well.  You're a pretty sharp fellow, and though the French is hard, I have no doubt you'll pick it up quickly.  There's no better way to learn a language than to be immersed in it.

Baby is great!  She's already five weeks old!  Can't believe how quickly time has passed.  She's chunking up a bit, though she was a tad premature when born, so she still is pretty small for five weeks.

Had you told me you had such a little one in your home?  I don't recall.  That's cute.  How old is the little guy?  I don't know if I've ever asked, but how many kids are in your family?  Where do you fall in line?  My parents had 8 and I'm number 7.  We have 4, but this will have to be it for us, as I think I've mentioned to you before.

If you do it before my dad moves, then yes, I guess I can let you cheat, just this once...(you're lucky this isn't a real war).

I think I've mentioned all that a couple times here, but no harm in saying it all again (especially since it appears you've entirely forgotten an embarrassment of a thread I created a while back). The mentioned midget is eight months old now (I believe you congratulated me when I mentioned his birth back in January). He's number seven, like you, and I'm number one. Between the two of us there are two girls followed by three boys.

Thanks bud.  R*7tu.  Like I said, I don't mind allowing take backs, as long as they are not too many and not before the third player moves.

I can't believe I'd forgotten all that.  It's been a while and I've been busy with real life.  Anyway, glad it's all good.  And don't be embarrassed about that thread.  Be proud of your family size!

I'm not really embarrassed about making the thread, but rather about the way I handled the silly responses.

Hey, I was thinking about it, and you lost your rook by negligence and didn't ask to take back your move. So we can go back to my dumb rook drop and you can have it. It's fair that way.

It is nice that the two of you are such gentlemen when at war, but as the third player I must ask myself if this does not look a bit like an alliance has formed? After all, will there not now be a desire to reciprocate the generosity of this take-back in a future equal situation?

By all means, keep your "arrangement," but tsk, tsk all the same.

That's kind of you. :) It's nice to have a rook again...

Well I'm fine with whatever the two of you decide. I'll keep my move the same.

Alright, I'm glad we're on the same page.  No, there is no hidden alliance at work here.  'Tis better to die with honor than live in deceit. ;)

So I guess I'll proceed from here, then.  Px19wx, and hopefully that's the last of my stupid moves.  Darn, I was doing so well!  What a terrible error :(

Either your pawn is really confused and killed some poor wild animal off in the woods, or you meant Px10wx. Assuming the latter scenario, L-11tu

Oops, yes, a mistype.  My former move was indeed Px10wx
