OK, OK, my original post was an abuse of the English language, art, and the past. Just cut me some slack already! ;)

Massive LOL my friend :-)

Bkev and Ryan McAvoy, that way you have jumped down RicOlie_2's throat is rediculous.   Nothing wrong with him remarking annoyance at being unable to draw a rainbow without it being thought of as some sort of political statement.

I hereby remark annoyance at RicOlie_2 being unable to "remark annoyance at being unable to draw a rainboy without it being thought of as sort of politicla statement" without in so many words being accused of hating gays.

I getting sick and tired of the somewhat hostile attudude some forum members here have towards Christians.

I don't think either of them were really being hostile, Warb. Jumping down my throat, maybe ;) but as I noted, I fully deserve what Ryan threw at me. I appreciate the support, just be careful not to do the same thing as bkev did (i.e. reading too much into people's posts).

yeah maybe you're right,  It is just that somethimes I get the feeling that some here think I should apologize or something for being a Christian.  (this is not specifically intended towards Ryan McAvoy or Bkev)

I'm sorry if I overreacted.

Off the top of my head here is a list of gaming franchises I have loved that EA has killed. Ultima,Mass Effect,SWKOTOR,Command and Conquer, and last but not least Wing Commander. Can anyone explain to me why EA seems to be out to get me on a very personal level?

I hate how a geometrical figure consisting of two lines or bars perpendicular to each other, dividing one or two of the lines in half has been virtually monopolized by the Christian movement ;-P

In my foundation course I had to make a support plinth for a sculpture and the most efficient shape for this was cruciform. I was pressed for time because my foundation show was soon so I carried the base home across town on my shoulder.

I was frequently referred to as Jesus, mocked and jeered the whole journey home was an accidental performance piece in of itself. Now I was in my early twenties at the time and being a bit of a hippy had long hair and a long beard which probably...not sure, added to the comedy of the moment.

In retrospect it was rather funny but at the time I had no idea I was creating that effect when I opted to carry the thing home.

LOL! Now, if some devout old lady had expressed offence at you "mocking Jesus" or suchlike, any annoyance you would have had about a cross not just being a cross would have been justified. Likewise, if I had had to design a flag for an imaginary country, and chose to make it rainbow-coloured, I would have had no right to complain about any monopoly over rainbows. :D

The rainbow is meant to represent diversity inside universal fraternity.

It's not as if it's universally and uniquely associated with homosexuality. Crescent moons don't universally and uniquely refer to Islam either.

There is only two other symbol sets associated with homosexuality and that's the pink triangle (which is a Nazi symbol which not everyone is happy using and only applies to male homosexuality) and the double Mars and and the double Venus symbols which excludes the transgendered and bi-sexual groups.

The born again Christian movement has the fish too which doesn't necessarily create a political statement out of all representations of fish shapes.

deleted,  I am trusting RicOlie_2 that I made the wrong conslusion(s) in regard to what Bingo posted.   I apologize.

Bingowings' post wasn't much of a complaint. There's nothing offensive in it at all. Why don't you read it, rather than making assumptions (it's a humourous story, hence my "LOL").

very well.  While I won't read the post,  I will delete what I said and trust that I made the wrong the conclusion(s).

As a drummer, when I see the moon & star, I think of Turkish made cymbals.  Nearly every brand (Agop, Mehmet, Zildjian, Byzance, etc) all use that symbol in their logo.  I think every drummer sees that pattern constantly, never associating it with Islam.

That is the Islamic symbol on the Turkish flag translated to a corporate logo though...

I can't see the mullahs of HYDRA endorsing this sort of product :

Are you claiming cymbal symbols are simple?

After having looked the definition up for myself, all I can say is this:
