I definitely see what you mean, trying to maintain continuity between the three. Empire always seems to be the odd man out because it is the only one the intense blue filter even slightly worked for.

Looking through the shots again, it could be the contrast throwing me off. The problem with Empire is that most scenes are either all bright or all dark. Contrasting colors and lighting don't seem to be used near as frequently as in the others, SW especially. I understand the effort to avoid the digital look, but I do think that contrast levels shouldn't be lowered quite so much for Empire.

Color wise, the two shots that stand out to me are Regraded 1 and Regraded 9.

If you compare the skin tones to the wall/room color in the original Blu shots, they contrast quite a bit. Wall tones are white, skin has a slight red hue to it. In the regraded shots, both the skin AND the wall have been altered to appear more yellowish. The skin tone is just about dead on, but with the surroundings also taking on so much of that same hue, it makes the color correction a little less seemless in that as a viewer, it kind of feels like a blanket color shift has been applied (like the teal shift in AOTC, though not nearly as obvious).

I can completely respect your reasoning, and I don't mean to nitpick. Your work looks stellar and I look forward to having the time to view your edits in their entirety soon.

Edit (redited):

Here are a few mockups using gimp. I lowered the yellow saturation by 17 and raised the contrast by 2.

Bluray is on top, kk650 2.1 is middle, and kk650 2.1 + tweaks is on the bottom
