I hadn't realised the legendary Sci-Fi model shop 'Comet Miniatures' had closed down since I moved out of London...

As you can see from the video ^ it was an 'Aladdin's Cave' of kits, too many to ever buy, too many to ever make but I wanted them all! Check out the wall of vintage Star Trek kits and drool. Sad face.

On the plus side, it's still trading online at this site apparently

But it's not quite the same as browsing through the piles of boxes, opening them up and inspecting the detail of the casting and kit accuracy before purchasing.
