Hey, I just noticed something fascinating. On the Star Wars youtube channel, there is a video about the history of lightsabers, and it was made in 2014. All of the clips of the New Hope duel are the original lightsabers, and I don't think one clip is shown of the 04 lightsabers. This is fascinating because it shows that Disney-owned Lucasfilm is not going to pretend that the originals don't exist. In most special features when Lucas was in charge they'd talk about the cantina and show footage of all of the dumb CGI aliens as if they were always there, but now they acknowledge that previous versions exist.

EDIT: Sorry, there is a clip of the shitty new Wampa scene, but still, the lightsabers were all the pre-2004 sabers for the Star Wars duel
