I don't really find those other examples funny anyway, but at least I find them less offensive. Though as a rule I find Hitler humor to be worse than natural tragedy humor, if I have to put it on a scale.

I *really* hate the "how is this fine if that isn't" argument. As if one is okay because the other is, when you've made the assumption I find the other okay when I haven't even heard of it.

I think you're missing the point of bad taste. You seem to have a limited sense of humour, if that makes any sense.

^ This seems to be a shared opinion among people these days. And to that I say "Go screw!".

Because everybody's going to have a problem with something, no matter how little or how big, or how justified their being offended is.

Oh no, I can't make a joke about driving because there's a handicapped person present... or I can't make a joke about O.J. because Bill is a widow, and I can't make a joke about trouts because Paul's grandpa died while eating fish...

Or how about when mexican people complained that Speedy Gonzales had been taken off the air, because white people were worried they might offend mexicans?

And you find Hitler humour objectionable? That must mean you think Charlie Chaplin and Mel Brooks are assholes! How dare they make fun of the suffering of millions of jews... oh wait! They were mocking a mass murdering fuckhead.

Sorry, but I don't put limits on comedy. That's me.

It is my opinion that people that find certain subjects offensive should stop taking things at face value, judge them by their context, and take their heads out of their asses. Just like people who can't take a little explicit potty talk and make a huge fuss about it.
