No offense to ady but nothing he's done suggests he'd be able to spearhead a $600 million blockbuster film trilogy. It seems kind of ridiculous to criticize movies that haven't been finished/started yet, but whatever, go for it, if that's what you please. I will be where I am eagerly anticipating both ady and JJ's work.

OK, four words. After the way he f***ed up Star Trek, I have very low expectations.
I'm really tired of the lens flares complaints. Aside from Star Trek 2009, what other JJ Abrams movie has excessive lens flares?
And I would argue that the problems with the Star Trek movies are down to hack writing, rather than his direction.

It's a stylistic device. If that spoils a film for you, it's probably time to reassess your critical priorities.
Genuine question to/re. Adywan though; has he actually used his skills to tell his own stories at any point? I wouldn't be surprised if there was some sort of broader film/media training in the background there.
The problem with a stylistic device is if it pulls or distracts the viewer from the story then it becomes a hindrance to the story. I dont mind the lens flares so much as i do the over the shoulder out of focus shakey cam with random unexplained zoom in's/outs. There are places in the story where the scene would benefit from a good shake, zoom or lens flare but if your sitting in an office setting just talking is it really beneficial to do these things? Everyone has their own way to view films, but to suggest he should reassess his viewing habits isnt necessary. Back to the Revisited topic. I think Adywan had mentioned before that he did some artwork before but not film, I may be wrong it was a while ago I read that, Id love to see some of his pre Star Wars artwork.

Ady has no editing/vfx background at all. He's entirely self-taught and has learnt everything effects-wise from scratch, specifically to do Revisited.
The only thing I'm aware of that he did before Revisited was an edit of 'Titanic'. I've never seen it myself. I don't think anyone has it anymore.

Ady, glad to hear your cooking up a making of documentary of some sort for the bonus features. I really think if you could go to town on that, it would be as popular as revisited itself is. Maybe even get a kickstarter thing going, like that Nicholas Cage superman documentary thats in the works. Maybe a documentary about what your doing could generate cash to fund ROTJ-R?
