Maybe ChainsawAsh was referring to the Book Type Field

My burner is an OEM model BTC-1008. BTC provides a utility program to set the book type which is used in conjunction with your burning software.
I think recent versions of Nero offer the book type option on supported hardware without the use of the separate utility program.

I've had good results setting +R media with DVD-ROM book type. Just last night I gave a m8 Dr.Gonzo's ANH to text on Xbox and PS2, so we'll see how that works. So far so good on all the standalone players I've tried.
