Avatar: The Last Airbender - Marathon Run

hey all! I used to make a few fan edits in the past and showed them in this forum (way in the past, 2006 to start with), and after "Legend of Korra" came out in 2012, I decided to revisit the show "Avatar the Last Airbender"; since it's really a giant story-arc, and because I know many people who are super fans of the show, I always figured it would be possible to create a version of the series for "Marathon nights", where I'm sure many fans come together to 'binge watch'.

Therefore, I always found it fascinating to be able to make a version that would eliminate all forms of technical breaks between episodes, and make a super-cut specifically made for such marathon nights. Obviously eliminating all of the openings and end credits, and seamlessly transitioning between episodes. Also, not to mention taking out the "commercial fade outs" within each of them.

So, I thought it would only be natural to present this idea to all of you here.

I love graphic design, so I also want to be able to make custom covers for each set, which would consist of three dual-layer DVDs, as I attempt to fit 3 hours into each of them. I've actually edited both season 2 and season 3 to test this flow last year, and think that it definitely works.  The source of these is of course the DVD versions.

Here's a sample of the still-unfinished covers I designed, and I'll be sure to upload a few samples of how each episode transitions to each other without breaking the flow of story.

I enjoy the covers, and I'm really curious to see what you do to take out commercial fade-outs. I didn't think that was possible.

wow, thanks for replying! In light of this, I compiled a few examples demonstrating some transitions from episode to episode, and also taking out the "commercial fade-outs". I deliberately didn't mark any of them to keep the cuts less obvious, and of course, in the context of the actual marathon experience, it hopefully would be less so.

Anyway, here's a few of them from Seasons 1 to 3, and don't worry about some of the quality, that's just how I rendered it for this particular video. And don't mind the little funky looking bars on either side either.
