Well, he's just being realistic. Look on the bright side though, the extended celebrations and music are already restored on the current blu ray, and if they release the unaltered blu ray then you have hi def Sebastian Shaw, so you could easily make your own fan edit of the ending! :) 

I personally love the added part where Luke goes over to Wedge, that may have been my favorite change in the Jedi Special Edition (not that that's saying much though)
