"There is a PAL VOB for your reference as well."

That would explain why the audio sounded odd. Thanks for the copy (of everything, in fact. I was beginning to worry, but you came through! . )

"XP has far superior Dual Monitor Support also. It's really the only PC OS to use for video work.
If you don't hav XP, drop me a line."

Oh, I know XP has its advantages, but I just feel more comfortable with 2000 right now. That being said, my friend is donating his 1.8 Ghz P4 to me (we bought our computers at the same time, and he just got a new AMD 64-bit system), so I may put XP on that one instead. This will also allow me to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

And yes, I may need to "borrow" XP as well.

Oh, and I finally got the second monitor working well enough. Video tends to break up, but I can limit playback to my main monitor. Now I can run Vegas and VirtualDub side-by-side (for the manual IVTC) and run the video preview separate from Vegas. Actually, the card has a VGA and DVI out (as well as TV out...if I can find a TV with composite-in, I can compare monitor-vs.-tv without having to burn a rewriteable. Ain't technology great?!?), so I may try to hook up a third monitor as well. LOL!
