Liking a Movie, and then realizing that other people thought it sucked. Redlettermedia just did that with Boyhood.

Boyhood's at 100 on Metacritic so I think you can forget about the RLM.

If that happens, we all meet up on the SW:R facebook page, and regroup.

That Disney is going to attempt some kind of half-assed OUT release and accidentally leave SE stuff in.

(They should probably go back to an IP or release print instead of the negative. There are just too many ways to fuck things up by going back to the negative, permanently altered or not.)

A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.

I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

That's definitely something I've been worried about.

I'm also terrified of drowning and grasshoppers.

Two more major fears of mine, one less rational than the other:

YELLOWJACKETS

WESTERN CONIFER SEED BUGS

I could be persuaded of a fear of drowning in grasshoppers I suppose...

Death by drowning is most certainly a terrifying thought.

It frightens me to think of finding out that someone I know (not necessarily someone close to me, but just an acquaintance) is a murderer or something terrible. That actually happened once, someone that went to the same school as me committed a school shooting, he murdered the assistant principal and injured the principal and the school nurse and then fled the scene. I'm pretty sure he killed himself afterward too. Pretty much every school in the whole city went on lockdown that day as well, at least until they found out that he was dead

The Person in Question

Being one of those freak cases where someone who is young and in good health up and dies of a heart attack for no reason whatsoever.  It happens, and it terrifies me.  And then when I start thinking about it and getting scared my heart starts thumping faster and faster and I'm like OH SHIT IT'S HAPPENING.

I realize it might be somewhat backwards, but I am actually afraid of living too long. I do not wish to meet the me of the future who has no idea he has left the house with mismatched shoes. (Mind you, I have already reached the stage where I cease to consider the compatibility of my socks and yet seem willing to carry on at least as far as my next luncheon.)

Worse, he may begin to recount the same anecdotes until visits with him become a matter of duty rather than pleasure. (Wait, are they a matter of pleasure now? This is hard to consider given I have not had visitors in quite some time...and now my wonderful thread languishes for lack of proper subject matter...)
