Wow. I have to say I was starting to have my own reservations about the show from the last few clips, but I was glued to the screen for that long preview. The music was a bit off, sure, but there was just something that felt Star Wars about the whole thing. I was grinning at the screen, which was something I rarely did on The Clone Wars, which I love dearly.

I think it was the whole spectacle. The McQuarrie/Johnston designs, the movement of the characters, the sounds (holy cow hearing all the old blasters and ships and stormtrooper voices again was incredible), I dug the Force interlude and the fact that Ezra didn't understand the idea of it to me felt very Luke-in-ANH to me, the fact that the characters didn't say anything too stupid and actually all came off as pretty cool, and when was the last time you saw seven minutes of Star Wars footage from a new series that didn't have a lightsaber in it? I know they'll show up, sure, but this preview was just good old-fashioned Star Wars action.
