As I am currently stuck in a creative rut with my Episode II rewrite, I decided now was a good time to finally type out a story I'd been meaning to write for some time now.

Unlike the prequel rewrites, this story is in the form of prose, short story format. I usually hate writing prose because, more often than not, I just don't have the pen for it. I felt this story would work better this way, though, and I actually didn't have all that much trouble writing it; for the most part, I just had to correct present tense to past tense.

This story takes place in 616 BBY, long before any of the events in my PT rewrite.
