you could try copying the link and opening it jdownloader.

That sometimes works, it works for da U-tubez.

I can't even get the files to play :-(

Got it to play in a different browser. Jdownloader can see and download the Les Mis video and the  anything goes Mp3 but not the audiobook files.

Using soundflower I have figured out how to funnel my speaker output to audacity and record it. So it can be done. It's currently 230am and I have just had a difficult evening with the squeeze (sauced again) but I'll see what I can do.
