^ The winner so far
VIZ TOP TIPS! - PARENTS. Impress your children by showing them a floppy disk and telling them it’s a 3D model of a save icon.
Contest over.
Do I win any frosty chocolate milkshakes?
Stumbled onto this alternate 1980 Coca-Cola poster I'd never seen before...
Boris Vallejo's paint work is fantastic and much more fantasy styled than than most posters but the Duel-Lightsaber-wielding Vader looks hilarious to me. Almost like he could be shouting "Yeaaarrggh f**k the Rebels!"

Wait what?! Why did this black robe never happen. It looked awesome.

You may have guessed but I'm Googling SW images. Does anybody have a higher resolution version of this shot? (720x581 and up)

Might wanna check your monitor settings. That robe is dark brown not black. =P

Yeah, I'm pretty sure Qui-Gon wears that robe in the actual film.
“That Darth Vader, man. Sure does love eating Jedi.”

I think it's the small size of the sabers that makes the image look silly. If they were closer in size to the film sabers then it would look much better.
Oh, and Vader's oversized arms/hands probably don't help any, either.
It might be slightly better known here in the UK, where an abbreviated version was used on the cover of TV Times to promote the first film's 1982 premiere:

The 'Yorkshire' TV Times! Lol. I can't recall, but have the BBC ever broadcast a SW film? if so, is there a Radio Times equivalent?
SW was always an ITV thing wasn't it? I found this...

Checkout these 1970s adverts from UK comic 2000AD...
^ Characters with the proper names like "Walrus Man" and not this "Ponda Baba" EU s**t!.
^ Even at 95p that looked like a ripoff.
^ The Mighty Thargg declares SW the best film ever.
^ Walter the Wobot interviews R2.

^I love that in that action figure one, Luke's arm doesn't bend. That's a level of dedication to realism I can't fathom existing outside this ad.

I always just called him butt face.
Suddenly I miss Nanner Biff.
"Hammerhead" never looked mean to me even before I learned about his EU backstory.
Those were the days. None of the cantina aliens were burdened with a backstory and you could make stuff up.
As a kid, I always thought Hammerhead was a friendly fellow, since we never see him do anything bad unlike those other three fellows. ;)

It's called artistic license. If we're going to nitpick posters, Luke never had the muscles depicted on this one anymore than Leia showed that much leg, or had such impressive space knockers in the movie. ;)
I want to see action figures based on this.

But haven't you heard? Those backstories aren't canon anymore!

I have a Luke action figure that looks like that! Let me see if I can find a pic...
JEDIT: It's the one on the right
He's from back in the nineties, got him when I was a kid. The boots aren't quite right but he's got the muscles.

Hey I'm calling libel on your insinuation about Snaggletooth!
What did he ever do wrong?
(In the pic on his figure cardback, it looked like he was in jail, so I always thought of him as an unfortunate victim of the Empire. I never connected him to the Cantina. I don't think he is even visible in the cropped pan-and-scan HBO and VHS versions I was familiar with as a kid.)
Sorry, I got him mixed up with some other cantina patron. I'm still a bit hung over from my vacation. ;)
Not so sure about his evil, taller, blue jump suited twin though.
