It's time that I take revenge upon the terrible trolls that infect this world.
At this moment, I want to take revenge upon TFN. They seem to remember the ANH opening crawl as saying, "The Jedi have won a victory against their archrivals, the Sith". They always talk about how the average person who doesn't know a thing about Star Wars knows the word "Sith" and uses it in their daily lives.

I don't have a problem with the term 'sith', but I do have a problem with altering Star Wars' opening title crawl.

My immediate family aren't even Star Wars fans, so I know they don't know about "Sith".
As for co-workers, on the other hand, I haven't had any since 2008.
I instinctively read Sith as 5th and have to double take.

Anyway, TFN does seem to have delusions about the prequels being as well-known as the OOT. They also called the prequel Jedi robes iconic.

Here's some of the reasons that I hate the Sith:
- makes Palpatine somebody who does bad things "because he's a Sith" instead of somebody who does things because of his own ambitions
- Takes away Palpatine's uniqueness
- An organization devoted to being selfish makes no sense.
- the EU acts like they're neccesary for the universe to exist. The idea that anything is neccesary for the universe to exist is beyond absurd.
TFN insists on the most convoluted explanations possible for things. For example, when Yoda calls Luke, "the last of the Jedi", it could easily be that the others quit being Jedi, but TFN insists that it be because of Yoda's ignorance. I wish that there was a "What do you HATE about TFN?" thread.
