I had never know technolgy could deteriourate so fast until I got this Dell Dimension 4550 two years ago at Christmas and now it his so messed up, that I hit it regularly just for spite.

I've been trying all day to restore it... But it just won't work.
How does one wipe the entire hard drive clean and start over?
