People who say that should not be qualified as "SE apologist". I could be considered a SE apologist since I think 1997 SE did improve the films. However I still support the effort to restore and release OOT in good format.

Objecting and arguing against the release of OOT in good format does not classify as defending the SE... it is something completely different. It is defending Lucas in his effort to prevent restoration of OOT and trying to erase it from the history.
