It's a great ending of the season/closing of the series. And if they decide to bring him back, they could have the next president (Aaron Pierce?) negotiate for his release or Jack breaks out for some reason. I like it better than S8's ending, with Jack just running off.
I love that Jack got to take down 20 more people, and a couple in non-traditional ways. Nothing can beat "bring me a hacksaw" or that time he threw a screwdriver into a guy's chest then hit him with a plank.
