That asteroid field clip is amazing.  The canyon blends in beautifully, and the new explosions are excellent. I especially like the two small asteroids that obliterate each other in front of the window are now much better than the unconvincing "comet" we had before.

One thing that has always slightly bothered me about this sequence is this:

As they approach the Big One, it looks from the cockpit's point of view as if it is either approaching incredibly rapidly or is much smaller than it should be. Should this be fixed?

One idea could be to just slow down the apparent approach speed in that one cockpit shot.  This would make it look much more massive, but could possibly lead to a continuity problem with the next external shot that shows the Falcon right above the surface.  Thoughts?

A similar scale problem was seen in ANH when the Falcon first approached the Death Star, as it moved against the starfield making it look much smaller due to parallax.

Oh and in the Carbon chamber, Vader stopped Boba shooting Chewie because he still had Threepio strapped to his back :P
