Do you happen to know what font is used for the ILM department headings starting with PRODUCTION AND MECHANICAL EFFECTS UNIT? It's got me scratching my head! That's Futura... either Bold or something similar, like Heavy.
I'd happily take just your PSD with intact text layers once you're done. Don't bother with the logos (Dolby and MPAA) as I can use those from my SW credits (IF you guys want me to render the credits)
BTW, what's this about the Kershner credits? Those are just NewsGoth BT Bold like the rest...
Hmm... I tried Futura and it didn't look quite right -- but maybe that's because the GOUT credits are so low resolution and distorted. But, yeah, I'll just give you the PSD then.
There is a reference for the ESB Credits here:

We will try to post a video in our thread at some point.

They'll never show up on my screen with a little overscan anyway...not that they bother me. Haven't had a chance to check the workprint, but the screencaps I've seen look incredible. Very exciting!
OK, here's a comparison video of the announced surprises from the WP and here's a gallery of screenshots from said video.
I just watched the comparison reel, and while your improvements are spectacular, I noticed that with your latest workprint take of one of the Cloud City tracking shots (starting at 2:50) the window designs seem really blown-out and over exposed compared to the GOUT-sourced version. Any reason why?

Excellent work, Harmy!
A picture is worth a thousand words. Post 102 is worth more.
I’m late to the party, but I think this is the best song. Enjoy!

Wow. A very nice update.
Very impressive, Harmy!
Thanks for your dedication and hard work on these films.
Beautiful.

Indeed, is this background still from the GOUT or 35 mm? I mean, this was a really, really bad aliasing effect.
The sources are clearly stated in the video.
Sorry, I just looked at the screenshots.
Harmy, Laserschwert, you have PM's! :)
The sources are stated in the screenshots too ;-)
Looked at the screenshots, looks great!

All of the shots looked really good!
I *was* worried about the shot of the Slave I ship, though. The ship looks good, but the characters going up the ramp looked...I don't know...over-colored/washed out? I don't know how to describe it.

(From the jedi1.net 70mm cell-scans)
Well...that looks different than the video comparison as well as the screenshots! Did you already make changes because that's looks WAAAAY better.

The detail you've managed to get out of the 35mm scans is amazing! Makes me even more excited at the future possibility of Despecialized Editions v3.0 using entirely 35mm sources. :)

@Turisu: Yeah, me too :-)
@Zer0squared: I don't think you understand - I edited my previous post - check it out again.
Yeah - guess it's just me then. The SE view looks really crisp, albeit a little dark. The (better yet) view just looks too washed out with lots of detail missing now...to me.
Ugh - I hate complaining because everything else looks so great.

OK, I guess I'm gonna have to spell it out :-) The first picture is a comparison between the GOUT and the SE, which means it is a comparison between the ORIGINAL and the SE! The second picture is an HD scan of a 70mm frame from the ORIGINAL version, so while the SE may look better from a certain point of view, it looks that way because it was redone digitally and thus looks nothing like the ORIGINAL version. Now, remind me, which version am I trying to approximate here? ;-)
I see. Gotcha!

That is a really incredible comparison. You did a great job getting color out of those pink 35mm shots. Now cloud city looks fully hd.
