I totally agree with Rik on this one... that is why I try to always refer to such work as "transfers" rather than "bootlegs". It is one thing to copy a LaserDisc and burn it to DVD, it is something completely different to run through video transfers from multiple sources in an effort to clean up the video frame by frame, adjusting for screen "bounce", rot and other media "blemishes".

George Lucas claims that it would cost him millions to create DVDs of the Original Theatrical cuts of the films. He could save himself a but load of money by bringing in some FanBoy interns, giving them access to the LucasFilm vaults and making sure they have a good supply of beer, pizza and popcorn.

Hats off to Zion, MeBeJedi and anyone with the patience and will to archive these movies knowing that they don't have the time nor the budget of LucasFilm to do so
