Aside from aliens, what do you think of the de-humanizing of the armies? The seperatists use droids, and the Republic uses clones. Then one guy brought it to me attention that the stormtroopers are clones, not something supported by the EU pre-AotC. I'm not very wild about the idea. If the entire Imperial Army is comprised of mindless drones, where's the conflict? It's like saying that the Empire is so reviled, so hated that everyone's part of the Rebellion. Droids vs clones does not strike me as a very universal conflect. Sounds like the Clone Wars was nothing more than kids playing with new toys. It's one of my biggest PT complaint storywise.

Jimbo, correct me if I'm wrong, but you would support a complete CGI re-working of the OT, wouldn't you? After all, story is nothing next to tidal wave after tidal wave of pretty colors, right? Who cares if Anakin isn't likable, nor is there any connection between him and Kenobi that suggests friendship. Who cares if it makes no sense that Padme would fall for him, when he has few redeeming qualities, and is downright creepy. After all, Portman's hot, right? Who needs Anakin to be developed anyway, since he's automatically going to become Darth Vader. It's pretty sad that the character's only real attribute is that he'll become the antichrist of his universe. Lucas has a lot to cover in III if Anakin's fall is to have any emotional impact at all. But what does it matter? The CGI will kick ass, right jimbo?

Sorry, I'm in a sarcastic, sadistic mood right now.
