I normally don't post on forums. And I'm not going to say how sweet Harmy's prints are, cause I don't have to.

But I need to just say thank you to everyone involved in this most noble of projects. Like many others these movies mean a lot to me.

Thank you so much.

I'm sorry. Harmy's Despecialized Editions.

Thanks anyway.

Just watched the cockpit unzoom footage and i'm amazed that I can't see any seam lines at the join points.  The warmer, less bluish color is very nice too.

Well, I blended the edges together :-)

I'm getting closer to releasing the final workprint and boy, do I have a few surprises for you guys :-)

Yessss

Paces around like a monkey in a cage.

 (Edited)

In the second duel clip, Vader's lightsaber looks pink in some shots,  rather than the red that it is in 1.0, although its still much better than the blu-ray. Was the coloring intentional?

also, on a kind of unrelated note, I just realized the worst part about episode 7: no fox fanfare to open the film anymore :(

Please please please let the Mynock shoot first!

Also, FWIW, I have a ton of new subtitles whenever you're ready for them.  The longer you wait, the more subtitles you get.

Harmy's prints?

I believe he was admiring the whorls on Harmy's fingertips. To each their own…

“That’s impossible, even for a computer!”

“You don't do ‘Star Wars’ in Dobly.”

Is there a chance you would upload at least a colour-corrected version of Hoth in the near future?

Author

I'm not sure what you mean - I already uploaded two workprints with the Hoth part in them.

... which I also have downloaded, watched it and commented on it.

My memory, where are you ? :-)

Forget my request please

 Aaaaaaaagh! (hides under table)

Sorry... I trust you man, that line just gave me flashbacks...

I can still hear that voice from the Special Edition trailer... "and a few new surprises" ...that's what got us into this mess in the first place. It was a trap! Soylent green is made of PEOPLE!

Anyway, please carry on... can't wait to see what you've done ;)

I'm sure that lovely CGI shot of Cinderella's castle set to "When You Wish Upon A Star" will be the kick-ass opener to Star Wars we've all been missing. ;)

Carry on, Harmy - your work is fantastic. ANH:DE makes for a joyful, pristine viewing of one of my favorite films. I'm like an ADHD squirrel as I keep bouncing back and forth between threads to check the progress between ESB:DE and Adywan's ESB:R. Absolutely love the work you've done so far. I can't wait to see the finished product!

If I remember correctly, I don't think John Carter used the full generic Disney opening.  So there's a hopeful precedent...

And none of the Marvel movies have it, right? I don't think we have to worry about it. Anyway, we should probably get back on topic.

What the hell thread did I just stumble into?

I believe this is page 576 of "Whose Castle is it Anyway?"

Well, according to that wiki article, the logo may be a mix of both castles...

Maybe they'll just replace it all together with a Death Star or the Millennium Falcon, or something...  Then Mickey passes by on an AT-ST, firing at the logo, or something...  Anyway, for now we just need to see if the movie even comes out on time, what with Harrison Ford's leg now being reported as broken and needing 6+ months to recover.
