I come to this thread to apologize yet again. I noticed while checking out my saved drafts that I accidentally saved my last post here instead of actually posting it. I was tired and thought I posted it. Well I was wrong and the post was in my drafts instead. I must also apologize for not checking up on this thread again and leaving the game hanging. RicOlie_2 since you were the only one to actually capture a piece during our game I hereby declare you the winner!

Thanks twist. I hope you'll consider a three player game in the future. I've been overwhelmingly busy lately, and I just found that my little free time was becoming a drag when looking at the game boards. I would like to play a three player game with you and Ric in the near future, if you're ever up for it.

I'm very busy, but I'm thinking about resuming our games, with probably just a move a day. I also finally have a tablet, and I found an app for Dobutsu Shogi, if you ever wanted to play a game.

Well, things are still complicated, but I can probably make a move or two every day or so. What game shall we start with? I would really like to try Dobutsu Shogi at some point. It's very small and simple, but not without some challenge or merit. But that doesn't have to be our first game. Let me know. And go ahead and make the first move at whatever game you decide.
I won't be able to move as much either, now that I'll be in regular school again (and I'll try to avoid going online while doing homework, which will take extra long, being in French), so don't worry about not being able to move as often. Our games will just have to be slow most of the time.
I'd like to start with regular Shogi, just to get back into it, then move on to Dobutsu Shogi.

My vacation was fantastic, but after thirty-four nights of camping (at least it wasn't tenting), I'm happy to be back in a house. We drove from Alberta all the way through the Maritimes (Newfoundland excluded) and then back to Quebec. It was certainly the experience of a lifetime and I'm looking forward to my eventual bilingualism. :)

I was teasing, mostly, because it would just be confusing. If I Frenchified the moves, "K-4i" would become "R-4i" and "R-4i" would become "T-4i". But I might use un petit peu de français pour pratique in the rest of my post. :)
