Also, how could this kind of bot possibly do anything on its own without human assistance as it is described in some sources? I suppose if there is nobody around to prevent this kind of situation it should be quite easy to resist or even destroy the droid. Of course one will not get away with that, but... I really think Brian Daley hit the nail on the head when it comes to the torture droid and how the process works.
Especially when you factor in things like this cut line from Mark Hamill's screen test.
Some of those lines are so good it makes me wish the audio was better so they could be used in fanedits.
