How are you guys going to do Anakin's wife? I know a few have completely written out Padme, but I think she has potential to be a good character. In the actual PT, she desires peace for all and does what she can to help (somewhat).

In my rewrite PT, what I plan to do is for Padme trying to keep the peace between the Separatists and the Republic despite the growing tensions after the First Clone War. However, Padme distrusts the Jedi because she believes they caused Dooku to rebel and form the Separatists.

Because of this, her relationship with Anakin and Obi-Wan has a rocky start. Over time, she warms up to the two Jedi and soon marries Anakin. However, when she fears about Anakin falling to the Dark Side as her husband gets closer to Palpatine, she confides in Obi-Wan with her children. Ironically this leads Anakin to suspect of Obi-Wan and Padme betraying him, and Anakin ultimately falls to the Dark Side. After the rise of the Empire, Padme goes into hiding and she disguises herself as a servant of Bail Organa.

What are your thoughts? Is it alright? Is there anything wrong with it? What are your own ideas? Please let me know. Thanks.
