I tried to think of an example and didn't think of that one, even though I actually love that movie (despite its obvious flaws including its utter absence of pacing).

But Evie is the real protagonist of the film, and what a face hers is! Plus, frankly I think the mask is a big reason a lot of people hate that movie...you know, along with the obvious flaws including its utter absence of pacing...

Iron Man succeeds because its an RDJ bonanza--the mask is worn during a very small fraction of his screen time.

Hell no I didn't see DREDD. That's my point.
