No, not the old one. The new one!

Kinda surprised there isn't a topic about this after a couple Google searches, but now we do!

Been watching E3 today, and wow. The Battlefront trailer was incredible. You get a real sense that they're taking a lot of care to make the game accurate from their location visits and their visits to the Lucasfilm archives. The textures on the Stormtrooper's helmet looks beautiful; definitely photosourced, which gives it that awesome OT hand-painted feel and makes me feel like the people at DICE actually care about the game and the universe (and especially the OT).

I'm sure the actual game won't look as amazing as their early in-engine renders, but if it feels like that, that's all that matters. We are definitely in the reborn OT era.

I personally hope we never see a single lightsaber in the entire game.

So they made a trailer of themselves... What a waste of time. Until they show gameplay forget it.

I also hope the forget about the PT and lightsabers.

I actually say it with surprise. I also hope it focuses on blaster type combat rather than relying on a light saber. We have plenty of games like that already. The trailer didn't really give a hint except it will feature OT planets and vehicles.

I am a Battlefield 4 player, and I have a lot faith in DICE. This game looks like it will be fantastic, and I will be getting it when it comes out.

Yeah. DICE has really stepped it up with the latest BF4 patch. Renewed a lot of faith in the company and the brand after they frankly bungled the release and first seven months of the game.

I was never really a fan of Battlefront series. I got bored of combat-based multiplayer games several years ago. I am only interested in story-based games.

But it would be nice to see if they got rid of PT. If nothing else, to spite the PT lovers.

If this has both vehicle and fps combat i will get this. And i don't play much games anymore.

I loved the rougue squadron series and i liked battlefront too just a lot of fun and fast paced action and had good atmosphere too.
