But he is an awful actor and way too young and he is the completely wrong type for the part.  Plus he is only being cast to bring in the twihards so that is what the series will be,it will just be a copy and paste of Twilight.

I am sick to death of hearing about Topher frickin' Grace and his prequel edit. We can't watch it, so who gives a shit? What has the guy even done besides play a puny looking, weak-voiced Eddie Brock?

So four students (three 18 one 17) who vandalised my school to the tune of almost $10,000 were arrested yesterday.

The newspaper website is filled with comments about how it was "just a prank" and the school is being unfair, and bail is too high, and "boys will be boys" and those boys 'earned the right to walk at graduation.'

ACK! If they'd broke into anywhere else, a house, a store, no one would say these things. But they vandalized a high school and it's all in good fun.

I was in a major chain supermarket and I wanted apples but I have a thing about trying to buy local produce. There was a big rack of shelves covered in Union Jacks full of apples. Under closer inspection the apples were from Chile, France, South Africa, New Zealand...basically anywhere but the UK and certainly not Scotland.

Naturally I brought this to the attention of the staff but I got that "are you a Nazi?" look for doing so.

Robert Paterson has been cast as Indiana Jones in Disney's reboot of the franchise.  Well that does it,everything good George Lucas has ever worked on had been ruined.

If you will excuse me I am off to drink a bottle of bleach.

 They're rebooting Indiana Jones!?!?  *sigh*

yeah Disney just paid a lot of money to Paramount to get the rights just like they did with Marvel.  What is up with Disney getting all of their ideas from Paramount lately? JJ Abrams ,Marvel, and now this???  Why don't they just buy the whole studio while they are at it?

Well it seems I just will not be watching any new movies because I can't afford $15 to see a movie once in theaters and streaming isn't an option for me. So long Hollywood, you will miss my money that I will now spend on games and books.

These "DVD is dead" articles have been coming out for several years now. Notice that music still comes out on CD, and you can still buy brand new vinyl records. My local Fry's just expanded their vinyl aisle. DVD isn't going to vanish the way VHS did, and certainly not anytime soon.

Can you find a bargain theater near you? It's an option if you don't mind waiting for them to get a movie that's been out for a few months.

I went to my doctor today and my blood pressure was high.   150/88.   I have to get labwork done and have to go back in 1 month.  My mom, a retired nurse, said the doctor will probably put me on medication if it is still high in a month.  In 20 days I turn 39 for the 2nd year in a row.   I feel so old right now.  : ( *sigh*

I thought I'd get in supplies for my long journey ahead and went for a walk to the larger of the three co-op stores near why I live.

As always I found myself picking up litter.

I had a different handful at each of the numerous and well appointed litter bins on my route. So by the time I turned the corner into the small retail park the store was in I had already got rid of about 10 plastic bottles and 15 or so drink cans.

Then came the mother lode a huge pile of glass and plastic bottles and cans within a brief walk from the recycle centre. I ended up filling a very large shopping bag (those huge bag for life things) with the trash.

It really makes my blood boil. Beautiful countryside, lovely rivers and canals and all choked up with this crap because people are just to arrogant and stupid to put their rubbish in the provided bins. Sometimes the drinks bottles were full or had only a few sips taken out before they were dumped a couple of feet away from the bin.

You wait.

I've got connections you know.

If I can weaponise plastic daffodils, killer litter monsters should be a doddle.

I suppose he's saying that he's going through the same things he went through when he turned thirty-nine last year. *shrug*
