ROTS is not the slaughtering of the Jedi. They are not going to show the violent killing of the Jedi on-screen.
Spoilers to follow:
Actually, They do, in fact, show Anakin leading a troop of clonetroopers into the Jedi Temple and we do see him kill a large amount of the Jedi still inside. The camera only cuts away when Anakin enters the room where the younglings are training. They say hi to him--and the doors shut.
This is, of course, after Anakin kills Mace Windu, and before he slaughters the rest of the Separatist leaders, chokes his pregnant wife half to death via the force, and then gets in a fight with Obi Wan Kenobi that lasts for apx 14 straight minutes onscreen.
As a matter of fact, most of the Jedi Deaths onscreen will come at Anakin's hands. There will be some shots of Jedi getting it from the Clones when the clones turn, but most of the Jedi you see die in Return of the Sith will die at Anakin's hands before he goes in the suit. A very large amount of the Jedi die in ROTS. A few escape due to Obi Wan and Yoda's warning beacon at the temple, and those are the Jedi that Vader "Hunts down and destroys" inbetween III and IV, but he personally wipes out everything alive in the Temple during the course of this movie, and we do see most of it.
