....thats another thing,....how come we didn't see any different versions of Astromech other than R2 units with different heads in the prequels.

Now with the Rebels cartoon we've got designs based on RMcQ's concepts to show earlier evolutions which didn't show themselves in the prequels either.

Even the Millennium Falcon (Known as the Stellar Envoy(??????)) in ROTS looked exactly the same as Han's modification,.....all the same greeblies,....just different paint scheme, they missed the chance to have it with all panels on,...not showing all the open/lost access bays covers...
