I've got 9a and 13a from online. I've searched for the Japan HD stuff using google and I don't find jack except xVid junk.

Sorry, I'm just not a fan of xVid and compression in general.

re: Xvid. Ill take a compressed 720p file over uncompressed 480p. ;)
The xVid versions appear to captured from HDTV broadcast. They look pretty similar to broadcast HD quality to me. I can send you screencaps if you like.

Has anyone here managed to use this mkv to create a compliant bluray structure where there are no sync issues? I've been trying to do this with no luck as I want to burn it and watch on my large analog projection TV.
Every time I try to convert this to something else the audio immediately goes out of sync. If I leave it in the MKV container, it's fine.
So what gives?

Ask Mike Schlesinger, the U.S. Godzilla 2000 producer. Word has it he has a VHS tape of the unreleased HK export dub in his office or something. But in all seriousness, I hope it's included on the U.S. Blu-Ray since they'll probably end up including the Japanese cut.
I have not found anyway, as of yet, to contact Mr. Schlesinger to ask this question. Too bad Godzilla Reborn got buried ..... I bet it would have been cool.
