You oviously don't understand that George Lucas made The Phantom Menace so damn light hearted because of the fact that he new Revenge of the Sith will be so dark.

Lol. Where in the world did that come from? Did it occur to you that maybe lucas had other thoughts in mind at the time that he was making TPM? Did you ever stop to think that he just may have made TPM "so damn light hearted" for a completely different reason? Maybe he wanted to draw a larger fan base by getting younger people into his movies. Maybe he wanted people to think, "Oh hey! A new twist on our old favorite!" Or how about the idea that the two movies have very little to do with each other at all where the mood is concerned. IMO, Jimbo is 100% accurate w/ a "progressively darker tone." The whole idea of the movies is as the Republic falls, the DARK SIDE rises. It isn't meant to be literal like that, but it serves as a basic connection that even a child can make. But, if we truely wish to know, the only thing we can do is ask Lucas what HE meant by it. Or you could take the deconstuctionist point of veiw....but we don't need to go there cause none of u probably care.

Words from Natalie Portman "Its pretty sick" Is Natalie Portman a lier too now huh?

Uhh, define "sick." If she means "gross" then ok, whatever, Natalie is a young lady, and for all we know she may have been brought up like a princess and she may think that roaches are "pretty sick." If "sick" refers to "cool" then it means absolutely nothing in this conversation. Also, it may have just been in preparation for the movie she may have been told to give it that kind of hype.
