Not damaged, just that the film itself tended to jump around during the transfer. This is actually not as unusual a scenario as it seems - it's just that not many other films come under such scrutiny.


It just seems to me to be quite a bit more jump than even my crappy e-bay purchased bootlegs. MeBeJedi (and other experts) - any chance you could take a look at the footage that Laserschwert has posted and let us know if that is the same amount of jump that you have seen?

I think I am going to have to see the doctor about possibly boosting my prescription because surely I must be blind.

Is this one of those "making a mountain out of a mole hill", "the other sheep went that way" sort of thing? The only real flaw I can see is a silver "flash" on Vader's helmet. I can't say I have every seen that before in any other transfers but I don't really see this "jumping" or "wavy" video like many of the others have said. I guess I can watch it again in super slow-mo to see if my tired eyes can see anything
