How about climate change/ global warming? It will drive humanity to extinction decades from now (along with countless plant and animal species), and yet we will do nothing about it, or even deny it's existence. It sucks that our species has to end like this, and I feel cheated that I won't have a long and healthy life due to the enviornment being now unsuitable for life. The reports coming in are just getting worse and worse; what scientists are predicting 100 years from now could happen on a much more amplified scale 20 years from now! I blame the politicians for wiping out humanity like this, with their ties to big oil and climate change deniers. I'm pissed off that we're going extinct this way.
