I'd honestly love to hear the conversation in the editing room. It's such a ridiculous and unnecessary edit. What could possible have been said to make that happen?

"I never liked the horn sound when Kyle and Sarah are dropped off".

"We can fix it James".

What was the official statement about the change in gunshot sounds anyway? Something about making the guns sound more like they did in part 2? I think I read that somewhere but can't confirm. Not for nothing, shouldn't continuity mean that the gunshots in 2 should sound more like 1? Similarly, instead of making the matrix more green so it looks like the sequels, that should be the other way around as well.
